In the rush to get some new products completed in time for the holidays, I had left this cute little quilt top hanging around in the studio. It actually took the realization of the impending party date (ohmigosh it's October already??), to get my stitch on - so to speak. So, after a marathon of hand quilting & binding, this sweet little quilt was finally finished!

After mulling over wrapping ideas, I decided on not covering it up. I just rolled it up, tied it with a ribbon, & presented it with one of my new business cards/tags. Yes, that's actually vintage fabric sewn into it! I love the pinking too. The presentation was simple, but looked pretty with all the colors in the quilt. Mama & baby were very happy with this practical gift, which was the most important detail of all.
I would love to know how many of you are like me & will admit to being a CADD type. Also, if you have Martha Stewart like discipline & do your projects methodically, what is your secret? I think we would all love to be a bit more organized!

Me, I suffer from CADD. I can only work on a deadline. That quilt is lovely -- I'd love to see a full photo.
ReplyDeleteWhew!!! I'm so glad there is a medical term for my "CADD". I sway both ways when it comes to getting a project done, but my more time consuming ones take forever to get around to complete, therefore I tend to throw a small one in here and there to at least get that sense of accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteLove your business card/tags.
